1. EASTER WEEKEND 15TH /18th APRIL TALL SHIPS ON THE THAMES
SATURDAY 15th DEPT. CHATHAM 13:0 (High Tide 16:09 5.9 M )Run up to Gravesend and lay on the Pontoon.(High Water Tilbury 16:27)
SUNDAY 16th DEPT. GRAVESEND 12:30 (High Water London Bridge 17:46) Run up river to view the fleet. Hang on a buoy to see them leave then run down behind to Gravesend.
MONDAY 17th DEPT. BERTH 07:30 (High Water 0517) Return to Chatham.(High Water Chatham 17:09 Est. 14:09 In Lock
2. SATURDAY 27th/ MONDAY 29th MAY CHATHAM MARITIME FOOD AND WINE FESTIVAL
As it is proposed that The Dutch Barge Assoc and The Dunkirk Little Ships will be in over this weekend we will shift KENT to Barking’s Berth and Barking to raft off Fearnought. VIC 96 will be away.
NOTE this is subject to a meeting with all concerned that I have been invited to attend on March 6th.
3. JUNE 8th. TO 17th. MEDWAY IN FLAMES
Typical Of Medway Council there is still little hard information. I do know and have been involved in some behind the scenes talks and we may have a Dutch Vessel rafted alongside us.There is also talk of using the East Side of Dry-dock No.8 (Behind the Chippy and Co-op)
There will be two warships in No.2 Basin and I here there will be boat races between the Dutch and Royal Navy.So it may well be worth our while opening for visitors for the whole period.
At the moment we are on the list of Historic vessels in the main parade on 17th June but there is talk of another parade on 8th June when the first Dutch Fleet Arrives and Dutch Princewill take the salute at the Dockyard plus VVIPs and Royal Marines Portsmouth Band .
All I can say at this stage is we shall see.
4. AUGUST 5th. /6th. THREE DAWS FOOD AND WINE WEEKEND
5. AUGUST 18th /21st IPSWICH MARITIME
FRIDAY AUGUST 18th Depart Chatham and run up to Ipswich
SAT /SUN 19th and 20th Open to public.
MONDAY 21st Run back to Gravesend. Leave Kent on the pontoon.
6. AUGUST 25th /28th LIMEHOUSE BASIN
FRIDAY 25th Run up from Gravesend to Limehouse Basin
SAT/MON.26th/27th/28th Open to public (? )
TUESDAY 29th Run back to Chatham.
7. SEPTEMBER 8th /10th? QUEENBOROUGH HARBOUR HISTORIC GATHERING
